I’m Jeffrey Prosser, a California native and LA-based writer-director working across narrative film, live broadcast, documentary, animation and commercials. I love combining manual craft, experimentation and bespoke techniques to make work that feels playful, hand-made and undeniably human. I often partner with companies to bring their visions to life, and for projects that call for a larger creative and production footprint, I founded PROSSCORP™, a tactile production studio built around that same philosophy.

In 2024, I created the independent analog-horror series FUGUES, which explores shared moments between humanity and the paranormal. By 2026 the series reached 40K subscribers on YouTube and I launched PUBLIC ACCESS LIMITED, an independent media platform built around a live broadcast show that highlights analog work, mixed-media experimentation and overall opens up the stage for our thriving, unique community of artists and performers here in Los Angeles.

I’ve spent the last decade directing commercial work for brands like Nike, Zappos, Microsoft, Schenley, and AMIRI while also serving on the board as the secretary for OMG EVERYWHERE!, a nonprofit that brings professional filmmakers together with kids to teach them how to make movies. I’m most interested in work that invites collaboration, experimentation and a little ingenuity. It’s always my goal to push things as far as they can go within the bounds of any given project.

I’m currently packaging my debut feature, FEEDBACK, a coming-of-age punk-rock horror movie set in my hometown of Visalia, California. It’s violent, bloody and loud, but underneath all of that it’s a story about ambition, escape and the hell of feeling trapped in a cycle. If you’d like to read it, get in touch.
